linkNew User Interface (Beta)
We’ve been working on an updated, more intuitive UI design and are ready to share it as a beta version (source code is provided to allow you complete control over customization). It's now available by default in WebViewer 7.0. We're very interested to hear your feedback!
linkRich Content in PDF Text Annotations
WebViewer now supports viewing, editing and saving rich text content inside FreeText annotations. Increase adoption and differentiation by giving your users the rich text annotation capabilities they're accustomed to. Let them bold, italicize, underline, strikeout, and change the color of text inside a free text annotation. Text styling will render consistently in any compliant PDF reader.
link@ User Mentions API for Document Collaboration
Bring a social dimension to your document collaboration experience with WebViewer's out-of-the-box collaboration functionality, which now includes @ user mentions. Users can find comments faster, and get responses sooner, improving overall productivity and app stickiness.
The API allows you to hook into your user data to autocomplete usernames, and can trigger events that plug into your notification system.
You can follow the guide to get started.
linkPDF Form Date Field Calendar
Fill PDF forms faster on desktop and mobile with a new date picker calendar for form fields. Instead of manual entry, which can introduce errors, users pick the date and it is automatically converted to your required date format.
For all the changes see the WebViewer 6.3 changelog.
We hope you like these changes and any feedback is greatly appreciated. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or suggestions.
We also have many exciting new features planned for the coming weeks and months. Stay tuned…
