Today we are very excited to introduce version 7.1.0 of PDFTron's Android PDF SDK . This release adds new fill & sign toolbar, support for PPT files and much more. This blog post will go through the major changes in 7.1.0. For the full list of changes, please head over to our changelog for PDFTron 7.1.0 for Android .
This release introduces a new toolbar that lets your users fill & sign PDF forms faster, saving them time, improving their user experience, while increasing adoption.
- A new
FreeTextSpacingCreatetool is added to let your users dynamically resize letter spacing. This is useful for filling forms that have predefined spacing between characters.
- A new
FreeTextDateCreatetool is added to let your users select the date by using a convenient date picker, instead of typing it one character at a time.
- One touch access to three convenient new stamps that are frequently used in forms: check mark, X mark, as well as dots.
