PDFTron is a fantastic company to work with. They provide outstanding professional support for a very feature rich API toolkit. Most of the support is used to help us understand the best way to implement a feature using the API and the answers has been very responsive and on spot. We all read the marketing brochures and content for products and put the code through the paces before we spend the money on a license. It is usually in the live environment when issues start cropping up and when you really find out how good the product and support are. We developed a critical core application which depends heavily upon PDF functionality (initially this was not based on PDFTron) and six months into the rollout we still had major issues due to the core API and a support system that stopped responding to issues over time. Two weeks after switching to PDFTron all of the functionality was converted, the existing features that did work still work, the problems that insurmountable before were all solved and were functioning as desired. I have a great deal of respect for this company, the support staff and the richness of their products. I didn't even mention that the few times we did encounter issues, we had a new build that solved the issue within two weeks (that is just the kind of technology partner you want when you have many users to support). The sample code is very practical and functional to use as a reference and the online references are very good as well. And the staff is fantastic to work with. We are a very satisfied and grateful customer of PDFNet and we just hope that we can contribute to its evolution.
