PDFTron: PDF components and PDF tools

PDFTron's PDFSecure is a stand-alone application and a software component that can be used to add, remove, or change security settings on existing PDF documents or whole directories of documents. PDFSecure can also be used to modify document information metadata and to web-optimize PDF documents through a process known as linearization.

PDFSecure is offered as a command-line application, and as a library component that can be used as a building block for other client and server-based applications.

PDFSecure SDK

For developers who are looking for a software development component to integrate into their application, PDFTron also offers PDFSecure SDK, an easy-to-use, yet powerful software component for securing PDF documents. PDFSecure SDK is available as a plain "C DLL" and can be easily accessed from any programming language (including C#, VB.NET, C/C++, Java, VB6, Perl, Python, Ruby, Delphi, etc).

PDFSecure is based on PDFNet SDK, PDFTron's own comprehensive PDF library.
